Riders Rescue

Introduction:

Riders Rescue is a trauma first aid training course for motorcyclists in Indiana. Riders Rescue was created with the intention to reduce fatalities and improve the survival rates for those injured in crashes involving two wheel vehicles.

Riders Rescue offers basic motorcycle first aid training for the general public so that motorcyclists and bystanders can help in the event of a motorcycle or any other two wheel trauma (bicycle/scooter/motorized bicycle) incident.

Our goal is to have as many Hoosiers trained and prepared to handle motorcycle and two wheel incidents as possible, with training available to all corners of the state.

This course is NOT intended for licensed healthcare providers nor is a replacement for state licensed EMS training unless specified otherwise. Learn more at RidersRescue.org

Mission Statement

Riders Rescue aims to contribute to the safety of our community through the instruction and training of vital motorcycle trauma first aid skills with compassion, professionalism and dignity.

About the Training

To better offer flexibility, we offer a blended course. For blended there is an online portion that has to be completed first and an instructor led classroom skill portion. Class sizes are broken down between our two facilities. Our main Indianapolis facility are 8 people maximum via blended. Our instructor led, Indianapolis area in person classes of 8 or more are held at our Veterans facility close to Fort Harrison in Lawrence, Indiana. As more Indiana sites add classes, they will be reflected on our schedule.

Cost for the level 1 Basic runs about $135.00 per student with the level 2 Intermediate courses run about $250.00 per student, unless otherwise noted by a generous sponsor. Upon course completion, student will receive a trauma kit per class course level, handbook and a frameable certificate of completion. Bikersinc members and verified Veterans receive discounts on classes and materials.
